What if there’s a better way?

The Happy Quest is about looking at the way we think, the way we do things, and asking a simple question: Is there a better way?

Sometimes the first thing that needs to change
is the way we think.

We get used to doing things a certain way. We tell ourselves we don’t have time, we’re not good at it, we’ll get to it when something else happens—or that’s simply the way life is.

The Happy Quest is about questioning the things that aren’t working, letting go of the ones that don’t matter, and finding practical ways to make the things that do matter easier. Most importantly, it’s about not letting limiting beliefs keep us from living with more ease.

A little easier can change a lot.

THINK DIFFERENTLY

Question the thoughts, assumptions, and habits that keep us doing things the same way. Sometimes a better way starts with seeing things differently.

SIMPLIFY WHAT YOU CAN

Find practical ways to make everyday tasks, decisions, and responsibilities easier so they take up less of your time and energy.

MAKE ROOM FOR MORE

Make more room for what you actually want in your life—the experiences, goals, people, and little things that make you happy.

Ideas for finding a better way.

Mindset shifts, practical solutions, and things I’ve discovered along the way that might make your life a little easier, too.

My Home Life Was Wearing Me Out. So I Decluttered My Brain

I wanted a simpler life. Instead, I turned simplifying into one more thing I was failing to accomplish. Here’s what happened when I stopped carrying it all around in my head.

My Job Wasn’t Terrible. But It Was Time to Leave.

Hi, I’m Debbie. I’m glad you’re here.

I started The Happy Quest because over the last few years, I’ve learned a lot that I wish someone would have told me sooner. I’ve figured a lot out on my own, and I want to share it so you don’t have to.

Sometimes I found something that made life easier. But more often than not, I found that I needed to change the way I was thinking about something before the solutions became clear.

I’m still on the Quest to live my life with more ease and joy. And every Quest is more fun with friends on it with you. Hopefully, we can teach each other along the way!
