HI, I’M DEBBIE.
I’m on a quest to live life with more ease.
I’m Debbie Alfieri, founder of The Happy Quest.
Writing a blog is not something I ever imagined doing. But I started this one because I think I have something useful to share.
To put it simply, my life has changed because I’ve changed the way I think about things.
That change in mindset has led me on a quest to discover and create ways to live my life with more ease. I’m enjoying life more because of it. So here I am, writing a blog to share ideas I wish someone had shared with me sooner.

How I Got Here
I have a full life that I love, but there are a lot of people and responsibilities competing for my time. In other words, I am a busy person. Too busy.
I used to think I had to do everything—and do it perfectly. I carried a mental list of things to do that stressed me out. I was slow to eliminate things from my life that weren’t serving me anymore because I was resistant to change. And I believed things that simply weren’t true, like, I can only lose five pounds and then the weight loss stops. My doctor set me straight on that one!
But one of the harshest things I did to myself? I put everyone else before me.
One day a friend asked me, “When are you going to put away your superhero cape?”
That one hit home.
I love helping people. But when was my life going to be a little more about the things that made me happy?
That realization led me to look for ways to simplify my life and make room for myself. Some of the solutions I found aren’t new—I just had to figure out the right way to put them into practice. Others are solutions I created myself because I needed a simpler way.
My motto is “Everything you need and nothing you don’t.”
Because if something is complicated, I’m less likely to use it consistently—or at all. I can’t tell you how many tools I’ve bought because they were going to “change my life,” only to forget they existed a week later.
What You’ll Find Here
On The Happy Quest, you’ll find simple, high-impact ways to simplify life, calm your mind, and make more room to enjoy it.
I hope you discover some new ways to think about things, too.
I’m not an expert. I’m simply sharing what I’m learning and what works for me in the hope that some of it will resonate with you.
I’m still on The Happy Quest.
If you’d like to come along, I’d love to have you with me.
I think we can teach each other.
xo, Debbie
